BeeOurly at WebSummit 2023

This November, from the 13th to the 16th, the BeeOurly team visited WebSummit 2023 in Lisbon. Our newest creation, BeeOurly — the Mindful Calendar, took its place among other cutting-edge startups. Our service helps seamlessly book and manage appointments and also make follow ups through AI technology.A balancing rock, also called balanced rock or precarious boulder, is a naturally occurring geological formation featuring a large rock or boulder, sometimes of substantial size, resting on other rocks, bedrock, or on glacial till. Some formations known by this name only appear to be balancing, but are in fact firmly connected to a base rock by a pedestal or stem.
Why WebSummit?
WebSummit provided BeeOurly with a unique opportunity to showcase our innovative product to a global audience, fostering invaluable networking connections and immersing ourselves in the dynamic tech ecosystem. This marked our team’s first participation in an event of such magnitude, where the presence of countless people, startups, and industry leaders left us very inspired.
WebSummit 2023 showcased its monumental scale, hosting over 70 236 attendees from 153 countries.

Preparation
Despite the challenge of wanting to launch our mobile application just before WebSummit, our dedicated team worked tirelessly day and night. In the days leading up to the event, we successfully launched the app, unveiling its functionality and design. Many of our WebSummit meetings were booked through our calendar, earning positive feedback from impressed attendees. You can download BeeOurly app by the link.

Activity at WebSummit and Insights
On November 14, our booth attracted a diverse crowd, including members of the press. CEO Nataly Ourly gave interviews, generating buzz around BeeOurly.
Also, the team actively participated in side events, such as AUSTRIA NIGHT feat. Journey to the Future and the German Startup Night, presented by the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Action and the Digital Hub Initiative. That was helpful for connection with the German-speaking community, a pivotal audience for our startup at this moment.

Insights gained from WebSummit highlighted the growing prominence of well-being and health tech, influencing our strategic approach.

During the exhibition, BeeOurly experienced remarkable online engagement, with over 250 daily visits to our website. Our presence at WebSummit garnered more than 1,000 views, showcasing the widespread interest in our product. Furthermore, the response was not limited to views; over 60 users actively registered for the BeeOurly app during the WebSummit period, and many more have downloaded it.

Key achievements included valuable feedback from the audience, a deeper understanding of the product’s value, and the visual appeal of our stand and other design elements. The use of our branding, including yellow shirts, souvenirs, and presentations, made BeeOurly stand out among the vibrant atmosphere of WebSummit.
